Every bed we send out is already packed to travel safely on our own vans — you do not need this for a normal delivery. Premium packaging adds a further layer of protection for £9, and it is worth it in a few specific situations.
When it is worth adding
The bed is going into storage before it gets built — extra wrapping keeps dust and damp off the upholstery
Tight or awkward access — narrow stairwells, sharp landings or a long carry, where panels are more likely to catch on a corner
You are moving it on again yourself after delivery
A pale or delicate fabric, where a scuff would show

Additional protective wrap around the upholstered panels and reinforced corner protection on the frame sections, on top of our standard packing.
If you do not add it
Your bed still arrives properly packed. Standard packing is what we use for every order and it is designed for exactly this journey. This is an extra, not a fix for a gap — add it if one of the situations above applies to you, and skip it with a clear conscience if not.

Vacuum upholstery regularly with a soft brush attachment to remove dust. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — avoid rubbing.
For stubborn marks, use a fabric-appropriate cleaner and test on a hidden area first. Avoid overloading the storage compartment beyond the rated weight limit.
