TV Beds

A TV bed is an upholstered bed frame with a television lift built into the footboard and a gas-lift ottoman base underneath. The screen rises when you want it and drops out of sight when you don't, so the bed reads as an ordinary bed the rest of the time — and you lose no floor space to a separate TV stand.

The television is not included. Every frame here is supplied with the lift mechanism and adjustable brackets already fitted, ready for a screen you choose yourself. That also means you can upgrade the TV later without replacing the bed.

Do TV beds come with a TV?

No. A TV bed is the frame and lift mechanism only — the screen is yours to choose. The brackets are fitted at the factory and adjust to fit most televisions with standard VESA mounting holes on the back.

What size TV fits a TV bed?

It varies by model. Most frames in this range take screens up to 43 inches, with brackets that fit 100 mm or 200 mm VESA mounting hole spacing. Check the specification on each product page, and check the back of your television or its manual for its VESA spacing before ordering.

Do TV beds have storage as well?

Yes. The base lifts on gas struts to give storage across the full bed footprint — enough for spare bedding, suitcases and out-of-season clothing. Several models also include a separate side box sized for the TV unit, consoles and remotes.

What sizes do TV beds come in?

Double (135 x 190 cm), king size (150 x 200 cm) and super king (180 x 200 cm). King size is the most popular. Remember that the external frame is larger than the mattress it takes — each product page lists exact external dimensions, which is worth checking against your room and doorways before ordering.

Are TV beds heavy to assemble?

They are substantial, typically between 115 kg and 137 kg depending on size, because of the lift mechanism and reinforced footboard. They arrive flat-packed with fixings and instructions, and two people are recommended.
